November 2003, the Royal Academy of Dutch Language and Literature(Belgium) initiated the project 'Linguistic Aspects of Jurisprudence duringthe United Kingdom of the Netherlands'. This research project is financedand backed up by the Royal Academy and supervised by R. Willemyns, memberof the Academy. The principal aim of the project was to gather and openup primary sources in order to gain a better insight in the choice and use oflanguage and the language itself in the period between 1814 and 1830. Thefinal product is a visual database with judicial texts that is made available forresearchers. This visual database will be put at the disposal of the Oxford TextArchive in the course of 2007.
