Stedelijke fietsplannen als Vélib’ in Parijs en Boris Bikes in Londen zijn een teken dat de tweewieler voet aan de grond krijgt in het stedelijke vervoer. Sommige subculturen blijven echter in duister gehuld en dat geldt met name voor de ‘fixie’-cultuur waarin baanfietsen centraal staan.Referenties
