Abstract

One of the most challenging problems for land managers is advancing infestations of invasive weeds. Treating weeds is often really only treat- ing a symptom. A fundamental tenet of Eco- logically Based Invasive Plant Management (EBIPM) is that managers must treat the underlying ecological cause of inva- sion to successfully direct vegetation dynamics toward desired species.
