Abstract


Carbon-14 dating was begun by this firm in the fall of 1963 using the benzene method. Determinations were made on a check sample of wood from a till in Wisconsin and geologic samples of Pleistocene Muck from Alaska and marine mollusc shells from Victoria, Australia.
