A New Data Acquisition System for the Groningen Counters
Abstract
A new GPIB/IEEE-488 based data acquisition system has been built for the Groningen proportional counter
setup, consisting of 11 counters. The IEEE bus is connected to an XT-compatible host PC. A versatile computer program controls the data entry; the same program can be used offline for final calculations.
