Abstract

Disseminated lymphangiomatosis is anuncommon disorder characterized by diffuseor multifocal proliferation of complex, irregular lymphatic channels involving softtissue, viscera, retroperitoneum, eyes andthe skeletal system.Currently, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, ultrasonography, andconventional radiography are the favoredradiologic imaging modalities in assessing theextent of pathologic changes in patientssuffering from disseminated lymphangiomatosis.Historically, imaging evaluation wasperformed with conventional lymphography. We report on the first patient sufferingfrom disseminated lymphangiomatosis withskeletal involvement, whose lymphatic vasculatureof the lower limbs and pelvic regionwas evaluated with magnetic resonancelymphangiography.
