Lymphangiomas are benign lesions butare associated with high morbidity when theybecome very large, occur in critical locations,or when surgically removed, develop secondarywound infections. Almost all lesions requiresurgical treatment. Complete excision iscurative; however, relapses must be anticipatedwith incomplete excision. We report the caseof a patient with a long history of massivecavernous lymphangioma of the breast andthoracic wall extending into the axilla inwhom complete excision was not possible.
