Merica McNeil received her Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching from The University of Arizona, where she also taught as an Adjunct Instructor at the Center for English as a Second Language. Her current research interests include (online) language teacher education, hybrid and online (language) teaching and learning, computer-assisted language learning, student-centered learning, digital literacies, assessment, self-assessment, and teacher identity and positioning.
