Betül C. Czerkawski

Betül C. Czerkawski serves as an associate professor of educational technology and program director at the University of Arizona. Prior to that, she worked in Long Island University and University of West Georgia as faculty coordinator of instructional technology and assistant professor, respectively. She has presented and published numerous papers on distance education, technology integration strategies, and emerging technology applications. She also edited a book entitled, "Free and Open Source Software in E-Learning: Issues, Successes and Challenges". Betül holds a MA and Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Development and BA in Italian Philology. She completed her post-doctoral study in Iowa State University where she also served as a project manager for a Fulbright Grant.

Max A. Lieberman

Max Lieberman teaches on topics including online education, instructional technology and serious games. He is an instructor with the Educational Technology Program at the University of Arizona South, and oversees web projects for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. Max holds an MS in Educational Technology from the University of Arizona.
